A Texas-size list of activities creates a full day of furry fun at Pet Fest. The day begins at 8am with a 5K walk/run (followed by an all-ages fun run at 9am). Three stages showcase a variety of activities including:
- Blessing of the Animals
- K9 Police demo
- dancing dogs
- trick dogs
- costume contest
- parade of pets
- weiner dog races
- chihuahua races
- a variety of contests including ugliest dog contest, best rescue pet contest, most unusual pet, guardian-pet look-alike, and more
Admission: Admission is free but visitors are asked to bring a donation of dry pet food.
For a Good Cause: This event is the year’s largest fundraiser for PALS (Pet Prevent a Litter of Central Texas)
