Michigan Family Pet Expo

Where: Rock Financial Showplace, Novi, Michigan
Why: Michigan’s largest pet event is a family favorite with events that include pet adoptions, vendors specializing in pet gifts, a petting zoo, pet services and more. Special events include:
- Johnny Peers & the Muttville Comix. This canine routine (they’ve appeared on Animal Planet and the David Letterman Show) features former shelter dogs.
- Rock-N-Roll K-9s Performance Team: watch Frisbee dogs, dog limbo and more.
- Ultimate Air Dogs: a premier dock jumping dog club started by former Detroit Tigers pitcher Milt Wilcox
- Purebred cat show and agility tournament
- Paws with a Cause service dog demonstration
Admission: $9 for adults, $5 for kids 3-12
