On your mark….get set…and it’s off to the races at Big Bend Barkfest. The weiner dogs will be racing plus this family-friendly event includes a full slate of other activities:
- Opening Ceremony of a parade of adopted dogs
- Police Dog Demonstration
- Agility
- canine flying disc sports Search and Rescue
- War Dog Exhibits & More
- Terrier Races-World Famous Speeds
- Labs–Buddies for Life
- Costume Contest Parade
- Frisbee Demonstration,
- Food, vendors and arts and crafts
When: March 6, 2010, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Wakulla High School Football Stadium, 3237 Coastal HW 98, Crawfordville, Florida
Cost: $5 donation entry fee.
For a Paws Cause: Proceeds will be helping to give a Homeless Dog a “New Leash on Life.” This non-profit corporation treats homeless dogs so they can be adopted.
