Whether you’re looking for a dog to add to your family or just an afternoon of canine fun, Austin area dog lovers should check out the Canine Hilton Rescue Roundup. The six-acre facility will play host to dog training demonstrations, dog play, and live music from animal lover and rescuer Kinky Friedman (seen here at last year’s ASCPA Wag-N-Walk in Austin).
The afternoon event will spotlight numerous rescue groups in the Austin area including Austin Pets Alive, Austin Dog Rescue, Heart of Texas Lab Rescue, Pug Rescue, and many others.
When: Saturday, May 1, 2010, noon-4pm
Where: Canine Hilton, 7509 East MLK one mile east of 183 N., Austin, Texas
For a Paws Cause: This event will draw attention to the numerous dogs available for adoption in the Austin area.
