Canines and their human companions are cordially invited to witness barking bride Lady B and her well-groomed groom Giorgio as they are joined in “mutt”rimony on February 12, 2011 at PETCO in New York City.
A happening with heart, the doggie “I do” is an occasion created by Canine Celebration, the “pet project” of founder Erika Friedman who has married her passion for pets with a desire to help animal charities to form parties for pups and their parents. The upcoming bow wow vows will benefit Mighty Mutts and Ollie’s Place.
After pledging their forever puppy love, Lady B and Giorgio will join their new two-and four-legged friends for a reception complete with raffles, cake and food. Two-legged attendees can enjoy homemade treats from Affordable Caterers, while Fidos can feast on doggie cookies and biscuits from The Barkers Dozen, Rescue Chocolate and Pet Nutrition Systems and a wedding cake from A Barkers Dozen Gourmet Dog Treats.
In lieu of gifts, guests are encouraged to participate in raffles, with each $5 donation going to Mighty Mutts & Ollie’s Place. Prizes for people and pets include:
