The Northeast United States may still be held tight in winter’s grip, but the Super Pet Expo in Edison, New Jersey will warm the hearts of animal lovers with three days devoted to our four-legged friends.
Activities
- Meet the men of Rescue Ink, who will be on hand all weekend long to pose for photos with fans, sell their signature T-shirts and spread their message of stopping animal abuse.
- Find a new best friend at booths set up for rescue organizations.
- Clap for the “fetch”ing Fidos participating in EVO’s World Class Frisbee Dog Show.
- Laugh at the capers of a coterie of comedic canines at the Mutts Gone Nuts show.
- Keep your Spot safe with a microchip. The Delaware County SPCA will be microchipping pets at their booth.
- Learn how to bond better with your barking buddy with the help of pet communicators Suzanne and Chuck Fisher, who are offering The Basics of Pet Communication seminar, free 2-minute Pet Communication sessions and free individual animal blessings.
- Have your photogenic Fido’s portrait taken by a professional pet photographer.
- Do you think that your pup ought to be in pictures? Find out how your Fido can become famous when animal talent agent Dawn Wolfe educates pet parents on behavioral issues and ways to train for your dog’s potential acting debut.
- Children’s Activities: While parents are shopping for their four-legged fur babies, tiny two-legged family members can have fun in the children’s area, where animal-loving little ones can have their face painted, jump on a moon bounce and create a work of art worthy of refrigerator display in the arts and crafts area.
