The Pet Studio of Round Rock, Texas, presents the Strut Your Mutt Dog Show and Spring Rescue Bazaar. Everyone (including their four-legged family members) is invited to come out and enjoy the contests including:
- Best All Over Mutt
- Best Groom
- Best Dog Trick
- Cutest Big Dog (45lbs +)
- Cutest Little Dog (45lbs-)
Contest winners will receive prizes including custom pet paintings by The Pet Studio, gift baskets, gift certificates and more!
In addition to the dog contests, the event will also feature food booths, vendor shopping, a silent auction/raffle, dog training demonstrations, and a special appearance by special guest Indigo “Wheeled Terrier” Jones. Indigo is a partially-paralyzed dog who was rescued from abuse in Virginia. After his adoption into a loving family, Indigo is now a “spokesdog” against animal abuse.
For guests looking to add a new family member, there will be all day pet adoptions through The Humane Society of Williamson County.
The Pet Studio, located in Round Rock, Texas specializes in custom pet portraits by artist Stephanie Conrad who is deeply involved in several animal rescue initiatives.
When: Sunday April 10, 2011, noon – 6:00 p.m.
Where: The Humane Society of Williamson County, 10930 E. Crystal Falls Pkwy, Leander, TX
Cost: Admission to the event is free. Registration for the dog contest events is $10 in advance and $15 at the door; event parking is $5.00. All well-behaved canines (including pure-breds) are welcome to enter the contests.
For a Paws Cause: The event will benefit the Humane Society of Williamson County, a no-kill shelter located in Leander, Texas. HSWC is 100% funded by donations, grants and fees for services.
