Paws for Mardi Gras, Georgetown, TX, Mar. 26, 2011

Scenic San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas is the place to be on March 26, 2011 as Friends of the Georgetown Animal Shelter hosts a Mardi Gras event to help shelter pets. The third annual Paws for Mardi Gras activities will include:
- dog walk around San Gabriel Park
- blessing of the animals
- pet costume contests for:
- best dog/person look-alike
- best dog costume
- best dog singer
- best dog trick
Registration: Until March 19, registration costs $25/person and you can register for up to two dogs. After March 19, the registration fee is $30. You can preregister online at paws.georgetown.org through March 23, or in person at the Georgetown Animal Shelter, located at 110 W.L. Walden Drive. On the day of the event, registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at the park gazebo.
Friends of the Georgetown Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer organization working to support the mission of Georgetown’s animal shelter by encouraging responsible pet ownership.
When: Saturday, March 26, 2011, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Where: San Gabriel Park Gazebo, Georgetown, Texas
For a Paws Cause: All proceeds will benefit the Georgetown Animal Shelter.
