Much Love Animal Rescue Fundraiser, April 9, 2011, Brentwood, CA

Proving that compassion is always in fashion, Modnique.com–a members-only shopping site– has teamed with Much Love Animal Rescue for a day of Fido-loving fun and philanthropy.

From April 6 – 13, 2011, Modnique.com is donating a portion of the proceeds from select merchandise sold on the flash sale site to the L.A.-based place for rescued, neglected and homeless animals. In celebration of the fundraiser, Much Love and Modnique.com invite dog devotees and their canine companions to Barrington Dog Park on April 9.

Activities

• Pets will feels like “pup”arazzi magnets as they don doggie duds and pose for Hollywood Photo Booth pictures.
• Pups can be pampered by Town & Country Pet Grooming.
• Star gazers can look for celebrities and their Spots– Sex and the City‘s Jason Lewis, Lacey Schwimmer from Dancing with the Stars and her recent dancing partner Mike Catherwood, better known by his on air pseudonym “Psycho” MIke, are scheduled to be among the attendees.
• Pet parents will please their palate with food and refreshment courtesy of Kogi BBQ and Sweet Leaf Tea, while dogs can dig into peanut butter-flavor “pup”cakes from Cupcakes A Go Go.
• Guests can contribute to Modnique.com’s online fundraising efforts on iPads available on-site during the event.
