“Play ball!” To our four-legged friends, the words are usually associated with the promise of a game of fetch, but on May 28, 2011 the phrase will take on a new meaning for sports-loving Spots as they get the chance to watch pro ball players at the second annual Bark in the Park at Dodger Stadium event.
Baseball fans and their Fidos will be sitting in the cat bird seat when they take their places in the All-You-Can-Eat Right Field Pavilion as the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Florida Marlins.
Presented by Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance Pet Food, Inc., the day of play includes a goodie bag for your barking buddy, a pre-game “Pup Rally” in Parking Lot G, a demonstration by hot dog skateboarder Tillman, and a number of canine contests, including: a Tillman look-a-like contest, a search for the tail-wagger with the most team spirit, and biggest/smallest dog competitions.
The “Pup Rally” will precede a field warning track parade of pups with their parents.
A happening with heart, the Los Angeles Dodgers are donating a portion of the dog tickets to spcaLA.
When: May 28, 2011, starting at 5:10 PM with the “Pup Rally”; game starts at 7:10 PM
Where: Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California
Ticket Price: $30 each, for human and dog
