On Sunday, July, 17, you and your best furry friend are invited to a special dog-friendly event during Reno, Nevada’s month-long Artown celebration. Its the eleventh annual Art Paws, a free event for people and their pooches. You’ll both enjoy lots of cool activities including:
- pet contests
- paw readings by a pet psychic
- paw painting
- a canine yogurt bar
- doggie costume contest
- agility courses
- pet adoptions
Human attendees will also enjoy browsing numerous vendor booths, free music by the Whitney Myer Band and tastings in the wine and beer garden.
When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2011
Where: McKinley Arts Center, 925 Riverside Drive, Reno, Nevada
