Treat your tail-wagging chum to a day of play and help homeless pets in the process at New Rochelle Humane Society’s Dog Wash 2011.
Activities
- Do you have an unruly Rover? Take part in an open audition for a chance to appear with the queen of canine comportment Victoria Stilwell on Animal Planet’s hit series It’s Me or the Dog!
- The dog days of summer have arrived, and canines can cool down as volunteers scrub Spots for a donation. For an additional donation, your pal’s paws can sport perfectly clipped nails.
- See if your pooch and pass the Canine Good Citizen Test.
- Pose with your photogenic Fido for a family portrait.
- Keep your Spot safe by having your pet microchipped during the event.
- A police dog demonstration showcases the skills of pooches who protect and serve.
- ABC Cakes will reveal a Rover-related Dog Wash cake.
- Games, face painting, magic, clowns and crafts will keep little ones entertained.
- Browse for bargains among booths brimming with merchandise, or try to win a prize in one of the raffles.
