Canine cancer has impacted the lives of just about every dog lover but work is underway to find a cure…but that takes plenty of fundraising. One great event coming up is the second annual Texas Agility Shootout in Fort Worth, Texas, a fundraiser for the National Canine Cancer Foundation. Last year, the agility event raised nearly $30,000 for canine cancer research.

This year, event organizers expect over 300 dogs to compete for prizes in eight different agility classes. The event will also feature a raffle, vendors, and a memorial wall for pets who have been affected by cancer.

When: August 13-14, 2011

Where: Watt Arena, 3201 Burnett Tandy Drive, Fort Worth, Texas

For a Paws Cause: Proceeds will benefit the National Canine Cancer Foundation
