Folks who adopt homeless pets are heroes in our book, and here’s a chance to be a SUPERhero, at the Howl-o-Ween Super Adoption Event sponsored by the Williamson County Humane Society.
Hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats will be waiting to meet their new forever families on Saturday, October 29, 2011.
To celebrate Halloween, would-be adopters are encouraged to come costumed as superheros; these costumed crusaders will be able to adopt a pet for free. Even if you come dressed as a mere mortal, you’ll still pay only a reduced adoption fee of $25 during the event.
The Howl-o-ween celebration will also feature lots of family-friendly activities like Halloween-themed games, local pet services vendors, photo opportunities with HSWC superheros, and food and drink concessions.
So, come on, you heroes, dust off those capes and join the fun!
The Humane Society of Williamson County is a local non-profit, No-Kill organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people in the area.
When: October 29, 2011; 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: Humane Society of Williamson County, 10930 E Crystal Falls Parkway, Leander TX
