People Saving Pets™, a social media initiative empowered by PetSmart Charities®, announces a call to action to help animal welfare organizations and has designated Tuesday, November 8, 2011 as Volunteer Action Day. The event, which coincides with National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week (Nov. 6-12, 2011) is designed to unite pet lovers and encourage them to sign up to volunteer at their local animal welfare organizations.
