Bark in the Park, Los Angeles, CA, May 26, 2012

Stepping up to the plate for homeless pets, the L.A. Dodgers will face the Houston Astros on May 26, 2012 at the third annual Bark in the Park event, which benefits spcaLA.

Presented by Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance Pet Foods, the day of play begins with a pre-game “Pup Rally” in Parking Lot G, where four-pawed baseball fans will receive a goodie bag after check in. At the rally Rovers and their pet parents will cheer for the talented Tillman from the Animal Planet series Who Let the Dogs Out during a a skateboarding demonstration, and watch (or participate) in such canine contests as Smallest Dog, Biggest Dog, dog that shows the most Dodger spirit and the dog who looks the most like Tillman.

After the “Pup Rally” baseball buffs and their barking buddies will promenade in a parade around the field’s warning track before heading to the Coca-Cola All-You-Can-Eat Right Field Pavilion to watch the Dodgers “Play ball!”

When: May 26, 2012, starting at 5:10 p.m. with a “Pup Rally,” followed by the game at 7:10 p.m.

Where: Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles
