Baseball buffs and their barking buddies are invited to watch the New York Mets go to bat for a paws cause at Bark in the Park 2012.

Presented by Natural Balance Pet Foods, sports lovers and their Spots can promenade in the Dog Parade (weather permitting) before taking their designated places in the Pepsi Porch area of Citi Field to watch the Mets take on the Miami Marlins in a game in which the ultimate winners are the dogs and cats in the care of North Shore Animal League America, which is the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption center.

Admission: Human tickets $40; dog tickets $10 (A portion of each human ticket, and all of the profit from dog tickets, will benefit North Shore Animal League America.)

When: September 22, 2012, starting at 1:10 p.m.

Where: Citi Field in Flushing, NY
