A permanent fixture atop lists of America’s most Fido- and feline-friendly cities, Portland welcomes pet parents to a day devoted to our four-legged friends.

Celebrity Spotting

Helping to change the mindset of those with misconceptions regarding Rovers who have badgered with a bad rap, Shorty Rossi from the Animal Planet series Pit Boss–his canine companion Hercules by his side– will address the injustice of BSL and pose for photos with fans.


  • Dogs will show off their dexterity in an agility demonstration, which will be followed by a Q&A session and the opportunity for one pup and pet parent pair in the audience to test the course for themselves.
  • Cheer for the skilled Spots who will step on stage in Animals Got Talent!
  • Dogs will don duds and try for a prize in the Pet Costume Contest.
  • A happening with heart, more than 200 adorable adoptables from local area rescues and shelters will be in attendance in the hope of finding forever homes.
  • Discover pet-related services and mull over merchandise at more than 100 vendor booths.

Admission: Free (dogs welcome on a fixed leash with proof of vaccinations)
