Words, Wine and Wags, Riverside, CA, September 30, 2012

As author Teresa Rhyne reads from her memoir The Dog Lived (And So Will I) at the upcoming fundraiser Words, Wine & Wags, dog devotees will toast the triumphant tale of one woman’s fight against breast cancer and the beagle who battled through his own bout with the disease and helped his human Mom win her struggle in the process.

As Dog-Inspired Wines from Cru Vin Dogs Wine Group pours during the wine-tasting portion of the presentation, emotions will overflow as attendees have the chance to meet the writer’s tail-wagging muse. Seamus.

A happening with heart, the event will benefit the orphan animals living at the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, which served as Seamus’s temporary home before he was adopted by Teresa Rhyne.

Reservations for the event must be received by September 23, 2012.

Admission: $40 per person (the price includes a raffle ticket)

When: September 30, 2012 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
