Animal Fair founder Wendy Diamond and her ‘dog’ter Baby Hope Diamond invite pet parents and their four-legged pals to a holiday happening with heart that offers the present of a brighter future for dogs who are homeless after Hurricane Sandy.
By bringing joy with the donation of a toy, attendees at AnimalFair’com’s 8th Annual Toys for Dogs Holiday Party can have their picture taken with the evening’s special celebrity Santa and his elves, nosh on assorted nibbles and drink toasts with Peppermint Muttinis.
As there’s no place like home for the holidays, guests who are looking to extend their fur family can meet rescue Rovers from The Humane Society of New York.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lucky Diamond Critical Care Ward at The Humane Society of New York, named in honor of Wendy Diamond’s Guinness Book of World Records-holding canine companion, who passed away at the age of 15 in June 2012.
Admission: $100 per person and dog
When: December 19, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Where: Amnesia at 609 West 29th Street in New York City
