Pucks 4 Paws Night, Binghamton, NY, Feb. 15, 2013

Offering an assist to pets in need, the Binghamton Senators will take on the Syracuse Crunch at Pucks 4 Paws Night.

Raising funds for Broome County Humane Society, Front Street Dog Shelter, SPCA in Waverly and Project P.A.W., the game is part of a season-long effort to help homeless animals in the area.

Members of the Binghamton Senators also posed with some four-legged family members and shelter fans of the furry variety for the 16-month 2013 Binghamton Senators Paws for Cause calendar; special Pucks 4 Paws T-shirts are available, and thanks to Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital the team is raffling off a Binghamton Senators pendant at the February 15th game.

Created by CD Daniel & Co. Fine Jewelry, the pendant combines a love of Spots and sports with a diamond paw print on one side and a ruby and black diamond B-Sens logo on the reverse side. Raffle tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Pucks 4 Paws table, the B-Sens executive offices or Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital.

This season marks the second year that the Binghamton Senators have teamed up to help pets in need. In 2012 the NHL team accumulated more than $6,000 for two paws causes.
