Having patterned her persona on silver screen legend Marilyn Monroe, it’s little wonder that the late pin up/reality personality Anna Nicole Smith named her platinum blonde fur baby after her idol. Two years after the star’s passing the lovable Maltese and her four-legged Shih Tzu siblings Frankenstein and Puppy have settled into the Sherman Oaks, California home of the former centerfold’s one-time love and attorney, Howard K. Stern. (Aggression issues brought on by her advanced age forced Stern to relocate Sugar Pie, Anna Nicole’s beloved Black Poodle, to the home of a family friend.)
In a recent interview with onlyforpetlovers.com, Stern confided “I love these dogs. They have helped me more than I’ve helped them. They were my constant companions after Anna’s death, and were by my side the whole time. They were probably my only source of joy.”
