Friends of Fidos are cordially invited to celebrate puppy love for a paws cause on May 14, 2012 as a tail-wagging twosome profess their dogged devotion for each other in a Woof Woof Wedding, presented by DJS Events.
A blessed occasion benefiting North Shore Animal League America (the world’s largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization) and Waggytail Rescue (a non-profit which has saved the lives of more than 4,000 companion animals since its founding in 2003), barking bride Piper and her well-grrrroomed groom Boo will be joined in ‘mutt’rimony at Twenty Four Fifth in Greenwich Village.
Saved from a shelter by Waggytail Rescue, Piper (the dog daughter of DJS Events founder Dawn Strain and her husband, Rudy Holesek) will go walkies down the aisle in canine couture from Kleinfeld Bridal.
Broadway stars Orfeh (Legally Blonde, The Musical) and Andy Karl (Wicked) are the proud pet parents of Boo, a Pomeranian/Chihuahua who will be a stylish Spot at the ceremony in a Kleinfeld Men original.
