Giving stylish Spots something to write home about, in celebration of its new line of custom pet stationery, the online greeting card business Sent-Well will combine canine couture with compassion at the upcoming Unleash the Love Fido-centric fashion show.
Taking place during Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter’s annual Mutts Mania event, Rovers in designer wear will rule the catwalk as they strut in front of celebrity judges Elisa Jimenez, a star of Project Runway season four and Project Runway: All Stars; and reality personality Karen Biehl, star of Doggie Moms and pet parent to Eli the Chihuahua, the winner of Milk-Bone’s “Make You and Your Dog Famous” contest.
The clothes-loving canine who wins Best in Show will receive prizes fit for a pampered pet, including custom pet stationery from Sent-Well; pet baked goods by Bubba Rose; a mani-pedi set by Puppy Paint; a luxury spa from Wash n’ Wiggle; a sitting with pet photographer Janet Zap of Zap Photography and accessories by designer E. Kammeyer.
The ticket price for Mutts Mania is $10 for adults. Kids and pets are free. All proceeds benefit the orphan animals at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, a New Jersey non-profit which has provided comfort and care for homeless companion animals for the past 40 years.
When: September 23, 2012 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter’s Mutts Mania at Lurker Park on Eagle Rock Avenue in East Hanover, New Jersey
