NHL Star Helps Chicago Dogs in Need

BickellAs the co-founder of an organization that champions canines who are often hounded by myths and misconceptions he offers the public food for thought, and on November 8th Bryan Bickell of the NHL team the Chicago Blackhawks will provide dog devotees with sustenance for the soul as The Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation takes part in a food drive that will help both people and pets.

Partnering with Global Luxury Imports for its fourth annual food drive for the Greater Chicago Food Depository, volunteers and adoptables from The Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation will collect non-perishable dog food items and monetary donations for Dog District, a training facility in Darien, Illinois which helps our barking buddies in need.

As a special treat for fans of sports and Spots, members of the Chicago Blackhawks will be accepting contributions for the causes, and will sign autographs from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Admission: A non-perishable food item for either humans or dogs

When: November 8, 2014 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Where: Global Luxury Imports at 101 Tower Drive in Burr Ridge, Illinois
