LonghornA driving force in the effort to help homeless pets, Miranda Lambert’s just announced partnership with Ram Trucks is helping to put dogs in need on the road to a better tomorrow.

From November 5th though November 15th fans of country music, canines and cats can bid in an eBay auction for a customized Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn or other special items, like autographed copies of the singer’s Platinum CD, signed guitars and tickets to one of the chart-topper’s 2015 concerts (which includes a pre-show cocktail with the high-profile performer.)

Proceeds from the auction will benefit MuttNation Foundation, a non-profit which was established by Miranda Lambert and her mother in 2008. Since its start the foundation has supported spay/neuter initiatives, the rehabilitation of sick or unsocialized animals, trained shelter dogs and found forever homes for adoptable companion animals. Taking its mission of compassion to the next level, MuttNation Foundation’s Redemption Ranch– a no-kill animal shelter in Tishomingo, Oklahoma– will celebrate its grand opening weekend November 21st and 22nd.

Speaking about her partnership with Ram Trucks, the singer stated: “I have lived my entire life surrounded by trucks even to this day. I have also written songs that mention trucks, so I am so happy to be partnering with Ram. And I’m thankful for their generosity in allowing me to auction off a Ram Laramie Longhorn for MuttNation Foundation. It’s a cause so close to my heart! I’m looking forward to more exciting news with Ram Trucks in 2015.”
