Dogs and doggedly devoted fans of the Kansas City Royals can cheer as players slide into home plate for the sake of canines and cats who need forever homes when the Major League team hosts the 2015 Bark at the Park event.
Taking place on April 21st, baseball buffs and their barking buddies can check out vendor booths brimming with Rover-related products on the concourse by the Hall of Fame prior to watching the first pitch from specially designated seats in Sections 206 – 209 and 107 – 109.
As a souvenir of their day at the stadium, sports-loving Spots in attendance will receive a Sluggerrr Chew Toy.
When the Kansas City Royals take on the Minnesota Twins they will be playing ball for a higher purpose, with $5 from each Bark at the Park ticket benefiting Kansas City’s largest pet adoption center, Wayside Waifs.
