A major league baseball team which has won two World Championships over the years will win the admiration of dog devotees when the players step up to the plate to help a paws cause at Bark at the Park and Adopt-O-Mania.
On June 13th baseball buffs and their barking buddies can cheer on the Miami Marlins from seats in the Vista level of Marlins Park as they watch the home team take on the Colorado Rockies. Prior to the first pitch, potential pet parents are invited to visit the West Plaza, where they can find their very own MVP (Most Valuable Pup) as Miami-Dade Animal Services hosts the 4th annual Marlins Ayudan Adopt-O-Mania.
A day of play for a higher purpose, all of the proceeds from each $10 dog ticket purchased will benefit the Humane Society of Greater Miami, an adoption guarantee shelter which cares for more than 300 companion animals each day, and annually finds forever families for more than 1,200 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
The Miami Marlins will also go to bat for homeless dogs and cats on August 2nd, when they face the San Diego Padres in Bark at the Park 2, which will raise funds for The Humane Society of Broward County.
Tickets: $15 for each human, $10 for four-legged fans
