Today as we get ready for our #EBTweets Twitter party coming up Sunday night, we’ve got a quick 365 post to share. This morning I was walking Irie and Tiki…when suddenly we came across this cute little fellow!
Now, we live out in the country so we just don’t see other dogs unless (a) they’ve been dumped or (b) they’re lost.
I tried to feed this little fellow and he wasn’t hungry and appeared to be in good shape so I was really hoping that he hadn’t been abandoned…so I started making calls. By the third call, I had a lead; by the fourth call, I had this pooch’s home! The dog of a son of a neighbor, he was out visiting for the morning and had wandered away.
Tiki, Irie, and I walked him home (well, halfway home; he decided it was too warm about a quarter-mile from home so I carried him the rest of the way.)
Irie and Tiki enjoyed their brief visitor, and I was happy that we were able to quickly reunite him with his family!
