The last few weeks, we’ve been hard at work preparing a new blog that we’re launching today: get ready for DogTipper’s DOGGONE TEXAS!
Our new blog is created in the same style as DogTipper so you’ll be very familiar with the layout–but, rather than the tips and top products you are accustomed to seeing on DogTipper, you’ll find Texas travel, festivals and fun on DogGone Texas. Whether you’re living in Texas, planning a trip to Texas, adopted a dog from Texas or just in a Lone Star state of mind, you’ll find posts and guides especially for Texas dog lovers on this new blog.
We had a head start on DogGone Texas because of our long history as Texas guidebook writers so you’ll already find over 2,000 pages of information on this site to start planning your next doggie day trip! Revising our former Texas Tripper website, we’ve converted this to a site featuring dog-friendly destinations, dog-centric festivals, and Texas-themed products for you and your dog.
The site also includes special features such as:
- Say It Like a Texan: an audio guide with the Texas pronunciation of some hard-to-say place names, from Refugio to Waxahachie
- Texas Dog Names
- How to bring a dog into Texas
- Our Texas-themed merchandise. Our growing Texas Collection on PawZaar is spotlighted on the blog.
We hope you’ll follow us on DogGone Texas and share the fun as we write about Barli and Tiki’s adventures in our home state! You’ll also find us with new accounts on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter (our Instagram account will be shared by both blogs!), as well as a separate newsletter.
Please Help Us Spread the Word About DogGone Texas!
We’re giving away a $50 PawZaar gift card to one lucky community member for helping us to spread the word about our new site! Use it on dog toys, t-shirts, jewelry, or anything in our PawZaar gift store–for yourself or get a jump on your holiday shopping! Good luck!
