Being Prepared for Emergencies with Dr. Emmo’s!

This weekend I had the chance to do something that’s been on my To Do list for a long, long time: take a pet first aid course. This wasn’t just any pet first aid course, though, this was a Pet Tech course taught by Arden Moore! Arden teaches classes at locations year around, and I was lucky enough that she was teaching a class at the conclusion of the Cat Writers Association annual conference in Dallas, which I attended this past weekend.

Arden wasn’t teaching the class alone, though; she was accompanied by her cat, Zeki, and her dog, Chipper:

Together they taught the class the essential pet first aid skills to be used in stabilizing a pet in an emergency situation so that you can get the animal to a veterinarian. Arden also spoke about Dr. Emmo’s Pet First Aid products including Wound Care Wash and Wound Care Gel, available in the travel-size packets like she’s holding in this photo (which are perfect for getaways with your dog!) and in larger containers for home use:

The products are designed to be a two-step solution to the scratches, scrapes, and skin irritations that your dog might face. Antibiotic-free, these products have received rave reviews from veterinarians and from first aid experts like Arden.

First, you’ll use Dr. Emmo’s Wound Care Spray Wash, a fine cleansing spray works to thoroughly rinse, remove and flush bacteria in all minor pet wounds. The second step in this wound care system is the application of Wound Care Spray Gel to the wound site. This easy-to-apply gel with its viscous formulation is intended to stick to the wound site, keeping the wound clean and protected throughout the healing process.

How Does Dr. Emmo’s Work?

Dr. Emmo’s technology works in the same way that your dog’s immune system works to seek out pathogens and then surround and kill them using Hypochlorous acid (HOCL).

Dr. Emmo’s first aid products deliver a safe and highly effective level of HOCL at optimal pH levels to effectively kill pathogens and prevent the health risk that they can cause.
