Identifying Plants & Flowers Poisonous to Dogs

Share with fellow dog lovers!

poisonThe holidays will soon be coming up and that means plants and flowers in our homes and the homes of people we’re visiting, perhaps with our dogs. But do you know which plants and flowers are toxic to your dog?

Today we received news from 1stinflowers.com that they’ve compiled a very helpful page featuring poisonous plants and flowers and, especially beneficial, the plant’s photo. “Not everyone knows what a Rhododendron looks like (which can cause kidney failure, convulsions and even death when eaten by dogs) so not only does our page have a list of the names of poisonous plants and flowers you should keep your dog away from, it has pop up pictures for each so you know exactly what the poisonous foxglove and other deadly plants looks like,” explained a  representative of the Louisiana-based site.
