When the 2017 Tournament of Roses Parade takes place on January 2 in Pasadena, California, one lucky sweepstakes winner will experience a wave of excitement aboard the same float as surfing dogs who will ride the waves while raising awareness of a foundation that helps dogs and cats in need!
The longest and heaviest float to ever appear in the parade over the course of its 128-year history, this year’s Lucy Pet Products float celebrates endless summer with a beachside paradise theme complete with totally tubular tail-waggers surfing 125 feet of fun–the 5,000 gallon, double Guinness World Record-breaking Gnarly Crankin’ K9 Wave Maker!
Do you want to be The Big Kahuna who gets to coast along on the float with the rad Rovers? The winner will receive:
- a trip for four to Pasadena, including airfare and a four-night stay at the Pasadena Sheraton
- one winner among the family of four will get to wave to the crowd on the Lucy Pet Products float along with canines from coast to coast who auditioned for the chance to surf in the holiday event
- three family members will watch the 128th Tournament of Roses parade from the comfort of the VIP section in the viewing stands
How to Enter
Contest participants must fill out an entry form on the Lucy Pet Products website before midnight on November 30, 2016 to be eligible to win. The winner will be chosen at random on or prior to December 3, 2016.
How Lucy Pet Products Helps Homeless Pets
More than merely decoration for a celebration, the Lucy Pet Products float is also a vehicle for change in the lives of homeless companion animals as it helps to shine a spotlight on the company’s “Products with a Cause.” All of the items sold by the family-owned and -operated company help the Lucy Pet Foundation‘s ongoing efforts to curb pet overpopulation and end unnecessary euthanasia. The non-profit, which spayed/neutered 4,000 companion animals in 2016, is striving toward the day when the Lucy Pet Foundation has a minimum of 40 spay/neuter and adoption mobile clinics in major cities across the country.
