Whenever we receive word of a pet food or treat recall, we announce it here on DogTipper (and cat food recalls on CatTipper.com) but, if you’d like to receive direct notification from the FDA when a food is recalled, it’s very simple.
Visit the FDA’s email updates page and sign up for the topics that interest you. Recalls are located under “Recalls and Safety Alerts.” You’ll need to supply a valid email address then you’ll begin receiving recalls directly to your in box. (You will, however, receive news of all recalls, not just pet food recalls.)
On Twitter, you can follow @FDAanimalhealth for animal-specific news from the FDA.
