This week has been a cold one for us with nights reaching down into the teens here in our rural valley. The dogs pop outside for just the shortest breaks. The cats, who are always indoors, snuggle up, like Felix and Inca here in my office on one of the room’s two dog beds. (There are also multiple cat beds in the same room…but they love the dog beds!)
Downstairs, the cats love to crawl UNDER our wood stove in the evenings, soaking up the heat. I think they’re missing our 100+ degree summer days…
