157*365: Planning Our BlogPaws Photos

Share with fellow dog lovers!

Today has been a super busy day and ended with attending a fun BlogPaws Twitter party. We’re so excited about the conference which takes place in just over two weeks…our *fourth* BlogPaws to attend!

One thing I’m doing in preparation for the conference is making a list of photos I plan to get. With the excitement of a conference, it’s easy to get busy and forget all about certain shots…until you get back home and sit down to create a slide show.

Whether you and your dog are planning a vacation this summer or you’re planning a trip to BlogPaws, take a few minutes to make a “wish list” of photos. For BlogPaws, ours includes:

  • Signage. Signs are great transitions in slide shows.
  • The hotel as well as a detail shot of signage specifically for pet guests.
  • Conference registration.
  • The opening ceremony.
  • The BlogPaws swag bag.
  • Tillman, hopefully on a skateboard.
  • At least one non-dog/non-cat pet.
  • The dog park.
  • LOTS of dogs and cats.
  • All speakers.
  • As many bloggers as I can get (and hopefully some video interviews, too).
  • A slice of the famous BlogPaws cheesecake.
  • A wide angle shot of at least one meal function.
  • A wide angle shot of the marketplace.
  • Some closeup product shots from the Marketplace.
  • A blogger working on a laptop.
  • A blogger tweeting on a cell phone.
  • A blogger photographing the event.
  • The awards ceremony and the closing ceremony.

And I know there will be a ton of other photos, too. Although I always come back from a trip with hundreds of shots, it really helps to have particular photos in mind before the event even begins!
