Just a few days ago, I wrote about my list of “must have” shots at BlogPaws. The countdown is now on for the conference so my next list is a packing list of photo gear!
- both DSLRs
- my compact camera. I probably won’t use it but it doesn’t take up any room in the luggage. Broken equipment happens so this is my fallback camera.
- camera bag. John has a large Tamrac backpack but it’s too big for me. I’ve got a couple of different bags I bought at the thrift store including one waistpack. I can’t decide which to carry.
- flash unit
- an extra set of rechargeable batteries for everything
- the rechargeable battery charger
- mini tripod
- microfiber lens cloth for cleaning
- extra SD cards
- camera manual. Just in case anything goes wonky on me, I want to be able to see what I can do to fix things on my own.
That’s about it! I hope to come home with lots of photos!
