We all know how tough the winter weather has been on our own skin. (I grab for lip balm about every two hours!) And our noses also become extra sensitive during the cold, dry weather. Well, imagine if that nose were possibly a million times more sensitive than our own, able to detect scents that we can only guess are present.

A dog’s nose, an organ so sensitive it almost seems to bestow super powers, also becomes uncomfortable during cold weather. Natural Dog Company has just added a new product to their chemical-free, organic line designed to help alleviate this problem. Snout Shine is an organic gloss filled with essential nutrients and antioxidants. Designed for daily grooming, the gloss not only helps with dryness, chapping, and cracking but also with pigment restoration. (Many dogs–like our Irie–lose pigment in their nose over the winter.) The Snout Shine is also help for brachycephalic dog breeds like Pugs, Boston Terriers, and Pekinese, which are often challenged by dry and cracked noses.

DogTipper received Snout Shine for our dogs and for giveaway.

I would love to win this for my three rescued Bulldogs, Lumpy, Brees and Clark! Their noses are always dry! I am sure that they would like this much better than Lamisoh!LOL! Thank you!

I love this product idea, although I had not heard of it until now. I would think that dogs paw pads might need something similar. Hooray to those who seek to improve the quality of life for animals everywhere!
