Film fans know her for her portrayal of a young girl possessed by a demon in classic fright flick The Exorcist, but fans of Fidos know actress Linda Blair through her real life role as a guardian angel for homeless animals. On October 26, 2013 pet parents and their pups are invited to meet the scream queen and help her paws cause in the process at Reverend Martini’s Halloween party.
The frightfully fun Fido-friendly event will also feature:
- Toe-tapping and tail-wagging tunes performed by The Hurricanes, The BossTides, The Dexentonados and D.J. Chuy.
- Costume-clad canines will have the chance to win a prize from Steady Clothing Co.
The boo bash will benefit both The Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation and Haunts Against Hunger, a truly ‘monster’ nationwide movement which is marking its sixth year of collecting food and funds for both people and pets in need.
Admission: $2 – $5 donation suggested
Donations: Blankets, towels, non-perishable food items for both people and pets, monetary funds. (The donation drive will continue until the end of 2013.)
When: October 26, 2013 from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. (Linda Blair appearance from 10:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.)
Where: Cody Bryant’s Viva Cantina at 900 Riverside Drive in Burbank, California
