Barbara Mandrell To Host Fundraiser for Nashville Humane Association

Over the course of her career she’s won more than 75 major awards, including Grammys, People’s Choice Awards and accolades at the CMAs, and now country music legend Barbara Mandrell is winning the hearts of animal lovers for helping out a paws cause.

On February 1st the country music queen will hold court at The Hutton Hotel as the host of the ‘London Calling’-themed edition of Unleashed: Dinner with Your (Royal) Dog, a fundraiser helping homeless pets in Middle Tennessee.

Anglophiles and their Fidos are invited to enjoy cocktails, tasty treats and a fashion show featuring couture-conscious dogs dressed to the k-nines.

Celebrating its fourth year, proceeds from Unleashed! will benefit The Nashville Humane Association, a non-profit organization which finds forever homes for more than 3,100 dogs and cats each year.

Admission: $85 general ticket, which includes wine/beer at cocktail hour and dinner; $150 catwalk ticket, which includes wine/beer, dinner, a gift and reserved seating; $850 for a general table, which offers wine/beer at cocktail hour only and dinner, and the $1,500 catwalk ticket, which offers wine/beer, dinner, a gift and special reserved seating.

When: February 1, 2014, starting at 6:30 p.m.

A proud pet parent to two Yorkie-poos named Trevi and Milli, Barbara Mandrell– who has also acted as host of the Mars Petcare Adoption Fair for the past two years– will follow in the footsteps of country crooner Kellie Pickler, who emceed Unleashed in 2012 and 2013.
