Share with fellow dog lovers!

Actress Jacqueline Emerson, who starred on the big screen as Foxface in The Hunger Games, has stepped in front of the camera with fellow actress Carmen Isabel Grendy to show fans of Fidos how to play a pivotal role in the life of a dog in need by acting as a foster or volunteer at an animal rescue or shelter.

For the launch of their new Spread the Light web series, the stars paid a visit to Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue to talk with the non-profit’s founder, Kari Whitman.

Established in loving memory of Whitman’s late canine companion, Ace– an American Bulldog saved from a kill shelter in 1990–Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue is a non-profit foundation which has offered a new lease on life to more than 2,000 death row dogs since 2001.
