Today was product review here at DogTipper…and the dogs were reviewing one of their favorite kind of products: treats! (They also love their job as toy testers…but they are less than enthusiastic about their role in testing shampoos.)
This afternoon we were testing Nature’s Variety new Instinct® Raw Boost Bites (stay tuned for a review this weekend), and Tiki and Irie were just workaholics…
On this rainy day, we shot all our photos in the house today without flash. This creates a shallow depth of field, meaning that the treats were in focus but the dogs were out of focus, appropriate since they’re not the subject of the photo but the treats are.
Do you have a photo of your dog and one of their favorite treats? Give it a try photographing the treat as you hold the camera in your other hand. Framing the photo so the treat is in the frame with your dog (but not over part of your dog’s face) can be a little tricky but it’s fun to try!
