Baseball buffs and their barking buddies can watch the Kansas City Royals play ball and help a paws cause in the process at the major league team’s annual Bark at the Park game.
Taking place on June 22nd, if the weather cooperates pet parents and their pups can take part in a pre-game parade and check out vendor stalls in the Fido-friendly area of the stadium before taking their seats in sections 206 – 209 and 107 – 109 to see the Royals take on the Seattle Mariners.
A happening with heart, $5 from each ticket package purchased will benefit Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter. Kansas City’s largest adoption center, Wayside Waifs has helped to find forever homes for dogs and cats in need since 1944.
Tickets: $35 (admission includes a Royals bandana for four-legged fans)
When: June 22, 2014 at 1:10 p.m. (Sports fans and their Spots will enter through Gate A, which will open at 11:30 a.m.)
