Keeping Your Dog Safe at Thanksgiving

Are you prepared for Thanksgiving yet? We are NOT here…our deadline for The Healthy Hound Cookbook is just days away so we’ve definitely been busy cooking at our house. The only problem is that we’ve only been cooking up dog treats!!

Our friends over at PetCareRx have been getting ready for the holiday, though. Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year for emergency veterinary hospitals so we all want to make sure you and yours don’t spend your holiday seeking emergency care. You probably already know that tinsel and chocolate = dangerous, but did you know that the rate of dog bites is higher for children ages 5-9 and that Animal Poison Control receives thousands of calls about ingestion of house plants each year?

To stay safe, be sure to check out PetCareRx’s Thanksgiving List for┬áPet Parents and take a moment to read the holiday safety tips in the PetCareRx infographic below!
