As Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz on the hit FX series Sons of Anarchy he runs with the members of an outlaw motorcycle club, but offscreen actor Theo Rossi is part of a much gentler pack as the proud pet parent to three former street dogs.
Along with fellow cast members Kim Coates and Ryan Hurst, the doggedly devoted star recently stepped in front of the camera for Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter to showcase the shelter’s Love. Protect. Adopt. campaign.
In the PSA Rossi stands up for Pit Bulls, who are often undeservedly typecast in the roles of antagonists in the public eye, and talks about one of the rescue of one of the dogs who has a starring role in his heart and home.
