Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall Adopts Rescue Puppy

Once a puppy without a home, a three-month-old rescue dog will be treated like royalty from this day on thanks to her new pet parent, Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall.

The Rover-loving royal, who has been a Mom to two Jack Russell Terriers called Rosie and Tosca, has welcomed into the royal family a tri-colored Jack Russell Terrier named Beth– one of more than 100 orphaned dogs who arrived at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in the month of July.

β€œWe’re delighted that The Duchess of Cornwall has adopted Beth. Beth is a charming, confident little puppy and we know she will be very happy in her new home.” Battersea’s Chief Executive Claire Horton stated.

Her Royal Highness has a happy history with the UK’s oldest animal welfare organization. In October 2010 Camilla used her high-profile presence to shine a spotlight on the opening of Battersea’s new cattery as the renowned rescue site celebrated its 150th anniversary year.
