Neil Diamond’s 32nd studio album, Melody Road, was released on October 21st, and while fans of the acclaimed adult contemporary crooner are currently humming the singer’s latest toe-tapping tune, fans of Fidos have a song in their hearts from watching the team of 10 tiny tail-waggers who lap up the limelight in the Grammy Award winner’s music video for “Something Blue.”

At the time of the video’s shoot, the passel of pups seen romping in Roaring Fork Valley were waiting for pet parents at Colorado Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.). Incorporated in 1992, C.A.R.E. opened a shelter facility in 2000, and since its start has found forever homes for more than 11,000 dogs, cats, and other abandoned animals– and now, thanks to the singing superstar, two more adorable adoptables have been added to the ever-growing list.

Melody and Bluebell, two of the Spots who enjoyed a moment in the spotlight in Neil Diamond’s video, have taken center stage in the home of the music legend and his wife Katie, who specifically asked that the video include shelter dogs, the Post Independent reports.
