Hunter Hayes Adopts a Rescue Dog

Share with fellow dog lovers!

While only time will tell if Hunter Hayes will garner a Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance for his hit single “Invisible” when the accolades are handed out on February 8th, the crooner has already won the admiration of dog devotees for choosing the option of pet adoption.

A multi-platinum singer-songwriter with a heart of gold, the entertainer recently posted a YouTube video to introduce his fans to Cole, a retired racing Greyhound who is now on the fast track to living a life of leisure and luxury as he gets ready to hit the road with the hit maker.

Cole is one of the more than 80,000 former racing dogs who have found forever families to love thanks to chapters across the country of the non-profit Greyhound Pets of America since the organization hit the ground running back in 1987. ( reports that Hunter Hayes met his new barking buddy through Greyhound Pets of America’s Nashville chapter.)
