Join Scott Eastwood in Celebrating Canine Talent in Nationwide Contest

Actor Scott Eastwood (The Fate of The Furious, Fast X), who starred alongside Taylor Swift in the music video for her hit “Wildest Dreams,” is promoting a contest that will turn the wildest dream of a lucky dog into a reality!

Royal Canin “Unique Abilities” Contest

Does your dog know how to shake paws, “speak” or take a bow? In celebration of the AKC National Championship’s 2023 “Unique Abilities” theme, through December 15th pet parents are invited to capture their canine companion’s special abilities to share in a video on Instagram, using the hashtag #RoyalCaninUniqueAbilities, and tagging @RoyalCaninUS

Tune in to the event’s December television broadcast of the AKC National Championship to see the video winner of the Best Trick category!

To mark the start of the contest, Scott Eastwood posted an Instagram video featuring his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Josey. 

“As a life-long dog lover, I’ve seen first-hand how every dog is incredibly special in its own way and has a specific set of unique abilities,” said Scott Eastwood. “My dog, Josey, and I are proud to partner with Royal Canin to recognize how extraordinary our pets’ abilities are and to celebrate that individuality this holiday season.”

Presented by Royal Canin, The AKC National Championship  will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17, 2023.  Dog devotees can tune in to watch the event  on ABC on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 2 p.m. ET.
