We’re back from a quick, two-night trip to Atlanta, combining a family visit and writing trip all in one. (After not one but two flight cancellations on the way there, we were so lucky to lose only about two hours from our planned stay in the city.)
We had the chance to check out the new dog park that opened late last year at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and will be bringing you more on that new facility.
We visited the spectacular Georgia Aquarium:
and strolled Centennial Olympic Park, watching the dog walkers in the shadow of the CNN building:
But now we’re so happy to say we’re back, greeted by two very excited dogs (although they loved the attention they received from their “grandparents” in our absence!) There’s no place like home!
